On December 16, the launch ceremony of Songshan Lake Science City Rowing Challenge and Songshan Lake Deep Diving Center was held in Nanhuwan Wanhui Yungu Science and Technology Industrial Park located in Dongguan Songshan Lake. As a mass event held to meet the needs of high-level talents and sports, this competition brings together nearly 20 teams from research institutes, universities, business schools, and famous enterprises, including researchers, teachers and students of universities, alumni of well-known business schools, backbone of well-known enterprises and players of Songshan Lake Science City team, fully reflecting the elements of science and technology in the Bay Area, helping to build a platform for exchanges of science and technology talents.

This activity is guided by Songshan Lake Management Committee, hosted by Songshan Lake Science City Development Group, co-organized by Songshan Lake Publicity, Education, Sports and Tourism Bureau, and supported by Wanhui Yungu Science and Technology Industrial Park.

As the core engine leading the high-quality development of Dongguan, Songshan Lake is built on water and prospers because of water. The opening of the Songshan Lake boat race base and the holding of the boat race gathering science and technology and business elites are another innovative exploration of Songshan Lake to the water, promote the "multi-industry opening" of culture, tourism, sports and business, and explore the "multi-district integration" of scenic spots, neighbourhoods, parks and communities.

Songshan Lake Deep Diving Aquatic Sports Center is located at the entrance of South Lake Bay in Songhu Yuanyu Scenic Area and next to Wanhui Yungu Science and Technology Industrial Park. Relying on the advantages of the riverside site, Wanhui Yungu Science and Technology Industrial Park has integrated a series of sports such as cycling, running, basketball, rowing, etc., with a strong sports atmosphere; The park has gathered more than 60 technology enterprises and star projects such as Huawei Sports Health Science Laboratory, Tencent Cloud (Songshan Lake) digital economy Industrial base, FILA Innovation Research and Development Center, Morui Technology, Guoku Neutron, etc., initially forming an industrial cluster development trend with sports health and digital economy as the core.
